Workouts

I don't know about you, but in my quest to get and stay fit I've tried everything.  As a martial artist, I work on my forms and techniques, but after a while I want to do something different.

First I thougth about Tai Bo, and while it is a great workout, it wasn't really too different from practicing my usual martial art.  So I turned to TV to see what I could find.  I mean, there's all kinds of workouts on several different satellite channels.  There's everything from strength training to belly dance.

I did find several things I liked, but they either had only one variation on their routine or they were at some weird time of the day when I couldn't do them.  What I needed was something I could do whenever I had the time, that was fun and effective.

Then a friend introduced me to Kettle Bells and I fell in love.  Not only do they give you a fantastic full body workout in about 20 minutes, they're FUN!  My daughter has started using them, too, and her kids fight over them.  I foresee sore toes in their futures....
